Hi all, managed to mot and tav the s2 yesterday so i took her to Atspeed racing in Rayleigh Essex.
They have a 2wd 1000bhp rolling road facility so for £40 they gave my s2 a power run.
Well with 153000 just turned up on the clock and in stock trim she made 180.2bhp @ the wheels!
They said allow 20% for flywheel to trans conversion which means an approx 216bhp @ flywheel.
Well happy with that
Now i'm going to see what happens when i take it to promax for a chip change and a full engine service.

Watch this space!

No mods as yet but i will look into the remap.
Was even thinking of a little drop of nitrious for good measure

Erm .... there's a very bad precedent for fitting nitrous to porsches. And, ironically, the porsche in question was an S2 as well (but not as you may imagine it).

Prepare for some odd looks if you go down this path.

Do you become mental; talk crap: and then sit up all night undertaking the most feeble denial of service attack in the history of t'internet? [:D]

Odd in what way?

Nothing wrong with Nitrous [:D]

As for the 928 S2 and its owner in the above comments... I feel a little tiny bit responcible... We fitted his first kit (about +150 to +200 bhp), fabricated the adapters and (important bit) told him he was nuts and the engine would self destruct the very very soon....

The freaky bit... is now he apparently has a 1000 bhp kit installed and it still has not blown up... Which still stuns me today, his piston ring lands must be blessed and protected by some divine force beyond my understanding!
