Power steering fault - 2024 Macan GTS

Having changed from a 992 to a Macan GTS in April last year, I was not expecting it to develop a fault like this after only 7000 miles.

Error message - power steering fault and lots of vibration through the steering wheel. The vibrations stopped after a restart, but the fault light remained on.

Recovered and a new steering rack is being fitted this week.

A bit disappointing, but I guess mechanical and electrical components are prone to failure. Not expecting it at this age of car however.
