Power Steering rack..how do i

Hi guys.
Sadly i need to replace the rack on my car as is pissing out fluid, and no amount of stop leak or new rack gaitors will cure this. Ive looked into it, and there appears to be a choice of three for my age of car. (D reg Lux 1987, 2.5 power steering). Ive been told to look for a number on it?, but whereabouts and what am i looking for . Any help would be appreciated!
