Power steering

Hi,

Took the car out today for a spin and felt the steering a little heavier than normal - not so much "power" in the power steering. Now I also have for the first time on my garage floor a very small oil leak and it is coming from the OS side of the engine - close to I think the power steering pump!!

Reading the various books I have etc the seal going on these pumps seems to be a common fault but easily fixed.

Can anyone comment on this and agree / disagree with my own diagnosis.

Apart from that car running a dream....what a difference new ignition parts made, arm, dizzy and leads - I did not realise the S2 was so smooth!!!!! (and quick!?!)
