When using my car last weekend I noticed a reduction in torque and the revs were down! Having carrying out some checks, thought I would change the fuel filter, as I did not remember it being changed during my ownership (11 years)or indeed within the service history.The car has only had garage queen, 12 month low mileage service, plus brake/hydraulic service as required. On pulling off the filter and emptying into a jam jar, the contents were really black and filthy, plus the date stamp on the filter showed it had never been changed! will find out tomorrow if there is any difference! May be prudent for owners to check theirs too!
