Powerstop Discs/Pads

Its getting to the time where I have to replace the brake discs on my 1990 Carrera 2.
Has any one on the forum used EBC Powerstop pads and discs as advertised in PP ?
I used them years ago on a motorcycle with good results,wondered if anyone had any experience with them ,or heard any good/bad reports with them on a 964,

[FONT=arial unicode ms"]I've got their G40 (40 groves) brakes all round on my Fiat Coupé 20 valve turbo and apart from the fact that they are noisy and have a passion for rusting (if you forget to smoothrite them before fitting) they offer phenomenal stopping power and no fade whatsoever even on the harshest track day (and believe me I have no fear of hard braking).[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

Some guys have had slight warping problems but apparently they warp less than Black Diamond and Tarrox
 
Don't think they do the discs in 964 fitment (certainly didn't do 3.2 Carrera when I looked a couple of years back) - but may be wrong. I found EBC Greenstuff pads to be pretty crappy on track, but OK as a low-dust road pad, haven't tried their other compounds so can't really comment other than that they are cheap.
Unless you are intending to track the car I would be very tempted just to stick with OE.
