Hi All

Yes I have but you will need to call them as they have VERY limited numbers due to the date of this event being TOTALY the wrong time in and around the Southampton Portsmouth Winchester Bornemouth area...

It's the SOUTHAMPTON BOAT SHOW.....[&:]

All rooms every where are nearly ALL sold out and if you can get a room it's double the normal price ( Rack rate ) 2 weeks either side and I could have got you all rooms for ÂŁ35..10mins from the event...... who picked the date!!!!!! no wonder The Girls at Beaulieu where smiling at me the other day when I was talking to them about future events in Southampton.. Beaulieu is dead when the Boat show is on...so any visters are welcome with open arms.. at give away rates

You can't beat local knowlege.....and as JO and I are in the trade and know for Events in Southampton and Portsmouth we couldhave helped like we did last time.. [:-]

tel number MUST !!!!!! ask for my Jo other wise you will get the ÂŁ125 rate I think Jo has put a few ÂŁ75-9 rates to one side ready for Porsche people but there will only be a few so hurry..and I don't joke about a FEW... last I heard it's fully booked for 2.5 weeks apart from a few Jo has kept back..

Mark . . . . just to let you know, incase you're 'reserving' a room for me (unlikely) . . . . I'm going to stay round my Aunties house which isn't too far off.
Cheers
Phil

Phil I cut the grass in the back garden just for you and your tent!!!!! I did find an old butler sink for your en suite...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I think Jo has kept back 10 rooms 6 for Porsche 4 for Regular guests..

Paul -- Last year we stayed at The Cottage Hotel, Sway Rd., Brockenhurst.
Impressive lady proprietor, the place a touch over-organised, but very nice, & a whacky Italian restaurant in the village for the evening.
Be quick -- try 01590 622296 www.cottagehotel.org
Can't make it this year, notice too short. Colin Palmer 0114 2363773

Last year, someone I know was there at 7am having just got off an overnight ferry [:D] but guess that most people will start turning up a little later; 9am onwards?

Wasn't the chap on the ferry delivering something rather precious from Geneva [8D]

I sincerely hope to be there, but I am unlikely to arrive much before noon.

Fortunately the local weather looks good.

Yeah, that Toblerone was delicious [:D] and the RS has turned out to be pretty special too!
Look forward to meeting everyone on the day.

Nigel . . . . (if you own the Chatrusse RS)

You're a lucky man . . . . never forget seeing your 'new' car arrive at Beauliea last year. Seeing it again at Eynsham was fab . . . . you/Jack have done a wonderful job avoiding stone chips.

If you don't mind me asking . . . how many miles has it done?

Phil

It's very unfortunate, but looks like I might not be able to make it after all - work and personal life stretched to the limit.

No doubt Fred will be parking cars up in some kind of order . . . . perhaps someone here could help him with the early 911 rabble.

Feel like I'm letting the register down . . . sorry guys.

Phil, yup that's the one. Jack really looked after the car but also used it well, Tour Auto etc. I'm really enjoying it too; now done 65,000 miles.

Pity we didn't meet at Eynsham and sorry not to see you on Sun. Another time.

Seen some piccy's of the event . . . . looks like a good turn out.

Also noted that traders were there . . . . so much for my information.

Phil

Phil are we going to do this next year... I think the event is very well situated and With some planning we could get some of our european clubs over the pond like what happened at the last event.... with the dutch lot..

Would be cool to have that lot of 356 guys from Holland over.. nice cars would bulk out the numbers by a huge amount..

oh ask Fred not to do Boat show weekend..[;)]
