Pre-Purchase Inspection- Hull area

Morning folks,

A friend of mine who was searching long and hard for a good 964 has found one near Hull. He would (wisely) like to get a PPI carried out- anyone know someone who is good and in the local area?

I realise most people who offer this service travel, but it may save on unnecessary travel costs and speed the process up as a deal is on the card subject to satisfactory inspection.

I can't help, but if no one comes up with anything you might want to try geoff steel who is based up that way. He's a BMW racer, but has dealings with porkers too and might be able to sugest someone

I can't recommend Peter Morgan enough. I recently bought a 964 C2 and his report more than paid for itself in the negotiation with the seller. I'm sure he will travel to Hull.
 
Don't want to stop you from contacting Peter Morgan, but last time I spoke to him he was very reluctant to go further north than Birmingham (I believe he is based in Wiltshire).

Of course this may have changed.
 
Contact Phil Clark in Hindley near Wigan. Phil does a lot of these inspections all over the country. He is the Concours Chairman for the club so he should know what he is looking at.

In the end my mate's gone for Sportscarguides. Very extensive report and a detailed verbal one- email and post copy. Not seen it myself but will have a look and let you know what I think (and if he buys the 964, whether it was accurate[8|])
