Pre-purchase inspection on a GT3 in the Birmingham area

Already posted in the GT3 section but perhaps this will help.
An old chestnut, I know, but any helpful suggestions on getting a PPI done north of Birmingham would be much appreciated. Peter Morgan sprang to mind, but the office is closed for another week, and I'm keen to get it done before the weekend. The Club office gave me details of a couple of firms which have advertised in PP (Classic Assessments and Classic Car Inspections) but has anyone had any experience of them? I'd obviously prefer to use a Porsche specialist. Not my home territory so all tips gratefully received.

I could but, having seen the recent 111-point check report and had a rev ranges check done at the OPC, which has been looking after it, and most importantly seen the present owner's garage and the evidence of all the TLC lavished on the car, decided there was no point. I have never seen such a range of car care products and the car lives in a Carcoon. I doubt that an OPC could present it for sale better and they said they would definitely put a warranty on it if it were not over 10 years old. Picking it up next week and I can't wait! After all, it's a red Mk II CS so what's not to like?! Meanwhile I need to sell the Polar Silver Comfort............

In the circumstances, it sounds like you're onto a winner, just don't shout too loud until you've bought and paid for it.
