Our friends at the Marcos club have invited us along to the celebrations at Prescott Hill climb.
http://www.prescottrevival.net/

You'll see from the link that you can book runs up the hill and enjoy the other activities going on.
Hill Runs are at the discretion of the organisers, only vehicles deemed to be in keeping with the theme of the event will be allowed to "˜run' the hill.

If you are unsure of the eligibility of your vehicle, then please contact the organisers before booking. I've been told that our Porsche 997 is in keeping

There is the option to arrive and camp on the Saturday night...[8|] there's bands and BBQ on the Sunday night..
You do need to book and if we have enough interested parties we'll get our own area of Porsche parking..[:)]

It`s a really good event, we had the Marcos 50th anniversary there in 2009, interesting hill and a great clubhouse, home of the Buggatti owners club I seem to remember.

I will be Tom, I might not be an early arrival though as I have a late night prior..[:(]

Hi Gary and Tom - Pam and I are keen to go along for the day, but I was wondering if you've booked to do the hill runs or have gone for the general parking? All the best, John

John

It has to be the hill runs deosn't it really or there is no point being there......[:D]

We'll there is - but a chance to run up the hill, given the history of the place, even at a sedate speed would be an expereince and a half.

There are still hill climb places on the web link gary gives but not many, get booking if you fancy it.......

Besides you have to give me a guided tour of your GT2[:D]

Good point, Tom! I've now booked for the day and 2 runs - looking forward to seeing your new motor! All the best, John

Jill and I look forward to meeting up with everyone at this event. The venue looked beautiful this last weekend when they had their Speedfest on and 4 or 5 911's were participating.

So please call over and say hello, if you have any specific paint, wheel or interior problems that you think that we can help with, then please ask for one of our detailers to have a look at your car with you.

Andrew.

Received my tickets earlier in the week and I'm looking forward to attending on the Sunday and taking part in my first hill climb event - does anyone know which day the concours is taking place? Rgds.

I've been away since Prescott, so just catching up...
A great day out and well organised by the Marcos owners club, both a display and moving event- some other clubs could do well looking at it...
Great weather whilst I was there but I think it rained in the afternoon.- I sadly had to leave early due to work commitments, but not before I had a couple of runs up the hill... quite a bit of learning to do from the comments fed back to me [:(] [:(] - from the old timers [;)]
The day could build into a great annual event..

We couldn't convince him to launch off the line....
