Pressure Line

Hi guys

My 996TT is about to cost me a lot of money.

The fluid from the power steering was leaking so I booked it into the local independent. I've been told that the 'pressure line' needs replacing which effects the clutch and steering. It runs from the front to the rear of the car.

The good news is the part only costs £20, the bad news is it will take 20-30 hours to fit !!

Does this seem right ?

Any advice welcome

 
Seems vague to me. Get them to quote for a job like that it's not unknown to them how difficult or east jobs are, hopefully one of the more experienced TT owners will chime in . Fab car though.
