Pretty under dash

The view under the passenger side of my dashboard is not a pretty site. In fact it is so bad on the eye it could win the Turner prize.

I don't think Porsche made any effort to put a cover to hide the pipes, wires, PCBs and guts of the dashboard but has anybody else made any personal effort to improve things?

I think stapling a cornflake box underneath would be a huge improvement, but is there something that might look a tad more professional?

Take one can of black spray...apply liberally, then at least it all looks the same [;)]

Seriously, perhaps some of the folks who do concours might have a solution in mind ? Perhaps a post over there, or a rifle through PP or 911 &PW might give you the name of people who are eternal polishers...

Must be some ideas from southbound as well ??

I made up some aluminium plates for both sides, which hook onto the top edge of the dashboard bottom lip, and screw to the underside top of the dash (so that they are horizontal).

They are sprayed black, and you can't really see them whilst sitting in the car.

I contacted a big supplier of 'bits' in this country (forgot name), as they sold plastic ones, but only for the left hand drive cars (USA, in this case). No call for RHD, so no tempalte made.
