my hatch hasn't opened for a couple of months now which has caused one or two promlems (ahem)
As today was mild I thought I'd pressure wash all the salt off and attempt to open the hatch.
One side popped so I wedged a screwdriver under the other side to apply some pressure then prodded the switch and the other side finally popped too.
I cleaned up the studs and receptacles dying them out and applied a little grease . I also adjusted the two studs slightly by slacking off the lock nuts and turning the bolts slightly in or out as necessary.
A bit of trial and error closing and opening and the hatch is now working perfectly again.
Which now allows me to replace the bulbs that have blown.
