Previous cars?

I've had a couple of 944's in the past and have sometimes wondered what may have become of them. Is there a way that members can trace their cars via the club? Or would it be simply a case of putting the registrations on here and hoping someone recognises them?

Hi Colin

Even if they were on the database of the Register it is data protection act covered, so you'd not be able to get details. You can ask if anyone knows the car, but only the new owner can give you any info.

1985 Alpine White 944 (Reg: B797 GNL) is... I'd love to know!
 
Inversely if anybody previously owned mine I'd love to hear from them.
IIB 4336 (no idea if that is the original plate or not).
 
I don't know where my first 944 ended up (it was bought by a bloke in Preston who intended to restore it), but my second was bought by one of my suppliers at work "¦ so I still see it pull up outside the studio from time to time!

I'd always be happy to pass a request on to the owner of a car on the Register from a previous owner. It's up to them if they take it further, of course.
