Price for '90 turbo ECU's

I've just bought 2 standard 944 turbo ECU's (main & anti-knock or lock? I can't de-cypher the invoice). They were fitted and supplied by the chaps repairing my car with no mess and no waiting for the parts, I have also been supplied back with the old faulty parts. Before they were fitted the car wouldn't run, now it runs like a dream. I just wanted to check what a fair price for these parts would be as I feel I may have paid too much. Whats the general consensus?

'90 Turbo SE - standard, but not for long

I have a pair unused in my garage. I didn't know what to ask for them, but I hadn't expected it to be half a bag. I'm not saying that was too dear though, more that mine are now available at £250 each [;)]

IS it the ABS (anti lock brakes) ecu and the main ECU?
There is someone who repairs/refurbs the ecu's (IIRC there was an article in 911&PW a few years back) they may be able to fix your faulty ones which you could then sell on.
For a DME and KLR at £500 I would give serious consideration to going to a standalone management system (you get something new for not too much more money), however I dont think after market ABS brains are an option.
Not sure what the current going rate is for ECU's but they probably cost a lot more than that new ;)

Cheers for that, I had considered trying to get the old ecu's fixed and will look into this further. I also have some faulty injectors, but I dont know whether these can also be repaired . The fault with the injectors is on the electonic side rather than the nozzle (fuel delivery) side.

On another note, If anyone knows where I can get the old ones looked at/ repaired I would be interested in trying to recoup at leas some of my expenditure back.
