Price rise

From Sept build, cruise control was fitted as standard. There was no price rise. From November the price of a Macan rose by £348, the original price of cruise control.

What do members think of this?

I think cruise control is now a European standard for all new cars. So presumably Porsche now includes it but increases the price to maintain its margins.
For the same reason, lane deviation warning also seems to installed as standard.

Picking our car up yesterday, we have both but still at the old price! [:)]

Yes I agree & I suspect that the inclusion of cruise without a price increase was an oversight by Porsche GB. No worries for me as I was always having cruise, but some are annoyed as they don't want it and thus object to paying for it.

I wonder if that happened when windscreen washers were added [:D]

I also hear that TPM is mandatory under EU legislation, but several manufacturers don't fit it.

I think whilst demand continues to outstrip production, there won't be too many people concerned, frankly. [;)]

Clive.
