Les - prepare to invest [8D] around £70,000 for gearbox -- thats for a good one

(you could try 911uk that gives you a menu of Porsche indy dealers / otherwise private )

Happy Shopping! The manuals are very few and far between :-( and they keep increasing in price.
Would love a 997 Manual Turbo!:p
Let us know if and when you get one!

30% were allegedly manual for 996 & 997 Turbo

make sure you get it inspected especially for corrosion under the back end, very open to the elements, for a start new turbo's are 5k plus a pair
Don't be put off just be cautious of a potentially cheap one

regards
karl

Several 997 manual Turbos currently for sale on Pistonheads - prices from late £40K's.

Hi Clive
im considering 991TT S mid next year. Would have to let my Caterham and 997 Turbo Tip go to fund it - is it good enough todo this?

If you want a very capable, top-of-the-range sportscar that will outdo almost everything else on the road, including most hyper-cars, then go for it. Or you could keep the Caterham and buy a 997 TTS, which is also a great car. Either way you'll find the additional grunt and PDK gearbox a big step forward. [:)]
Regards,

Clive

There is a very nice 997 turbo manual at Porsche Teesside - good spec/mileage and not too badly priced for an OPC bearing in mind the preparation and warranty they give. Looks great in cobalt blue with yellow PCCB callipers!
