2006 987 gen1 boxster 2.7 manual.

Front hood wont open on the button, it only opens via the remote control. It used to work until yesterday and all of a sudden it doesnt.

Where should i start looking?

Thx

Sounds like it could be the switch itself, is anything else not working? Such as rear lid.

I thought it might be the switch itself Kevan. The rear one works no probs so i know there is power getting to the switchpanel.

Maybe i take it to bits and have a play. Thanks for your help

Samantha, don't forget that the switches are permanently live.

I've looked at the fuse list and none listed for the front lid but for the rear lid it's F3 on Row A could be a common supply to the panel, if so let me know.

Did you check the switch panel? If so something may have got loosened then.[8|]

So i fixed the problem...

I took my car to my dealer and they fitted me a new switch, i gave them £60 and now it works....

Moral of the story? Get someone who knows what they are doing to do it lol
