Problem, Head Gasket???

Guest

New member
On Saturday i moved my car from under the car port to the front of the house, no problem, the car sat all day as I was picking up my new car.

When I tried to move the car later that day it wouldn't start, got out and the exhaust had a small amount of smoke coming from it!

Got back in and tried starting it again, it started, the usual amount of smoke came out, gave it a little rev and a load of white smoke came out, which happened every time it was revved!

What could this be? Is this a Blown Head? The cars only done 41k which doesn't seem good!

I have spoken to Autostrasse and they say it could be but it could also be something very minor.......

Any Ideas?

Thomas,

good news, I hoped I wouldn't have to add you to the case book of problem cars

A question, why do you mention boxa.n in your signature? Or perhaps you mention the PCGB Forum on your posts to boxa.n? Its just a question of etiquette.

I am quite an active user of boxa.net and find it to be one of the best places to get advice on the Boxster model, it is also the forum that helped me with the purchase of my car and as such feel it deserves promotion. The site is also good for general chat about all cars!

Hope this doesn't cause a problem!
