A mate of mine has a 1988 911 Targa and is having issues.

there is no power to the hazzard switch on terminal 30 and theres no power to the washer pump, any ideas?

he says he is confused with the washer as there is a tank inside the boot with a pump for anti silicone, should that work with the normal washers off the stalk or off its own switch?

Any help appreciated.

James :)

The concentrated cleaning fluild as you rightly describe has it's own tank. The switch for this is on the dash under the instruments to the right of the steering wheel from memory. The normal washer fluid works on the stalk.

Hi
Power to pin 30 on Hazzard switch comes from fuse 5 counting from windscreen to bumper.

Screen washer pump is alongside the battery.works from wiper stalk. top up at petrol filler lid.

Intensive wash works from small rocker switch under instruments and runs the wipers 5-6 times as well.
