hi there i have a problem with one of the lights on the dash it won't go out its the light that tells you the hood is open all the other lights go out as thay should do apart from this one i have noticed also when i lock my car with the key when i turn the key the horn beeps once and i cant lock the doors the drivers door locks but the passenger door wan't lock with the central locking does any one have any ideas thanks hope you can help thanks

IIRC there is a microswitch in the hood latching mechanism which may be malfunctioning in your case so the computer thinks the hood is still not locked. That might explain the beep which signifys something is not closed (like glove compartment).

I am sure some one more knowlagable will be along shortly though.

I agree, faulty roof switch. Mine started doing the same thing until it finally packed up and the roof wouldn't open or close. You can buy one from www.design911.co.uk for about £20 and easy to change.
It goes under the latch.
