Progressive lowering springs

964rh

New member
hi

Finally taking the plunge (after working some decent overtime) to lower the 964 by 30mm.

Anyone have any idea of the cheapest place to get either H&R or Eibach spring sets from. (Although I think the H&R lower by 40mm which would be to much for me)

Or does anyone know of another manufacturer of decent progessive springs?

Thanks

Rob

I have H&R springs with standard dampers.
They were fitted by Roock before I bought the car.
VERY low, but a quite surprisingly supple ride.
I like it (even if John Miles said it looked like a chav's car), as the handling is superb.
Whatever you choose, it'll be worth it.
You should also fit a strutbrace, if not already......another big improvement.
Rgds,
Jon

Hi Rob,
My car which you saw at Bruntingthorpe has got H&R 30mm lowering springs which I had fitted by Marque21 Racing. They have transformed the ride, even with standard dampers. Personally I think that standard 964's look jacked-up almost to the the point of looking slightly comical!!! I appreciate that yours is a 4x4, but it shouldn't have to look like an off-roader!
I'm sure you won't regret it!
Regards

Steve
