Project S2 - bodyshop update with pics...

Paid another visit to the bodyshop on Saturday after my trip to Germany. Unfortunately things haven't progressed as quickly as I'd hoped, but it seems that's pretty much par for the course with bodyshops. Best not to rush the professionals! At least it gave me the opportunity to take a few photos:

Here's my baby in bits

I'll post up some more pics as work progresses on the other side. Probably be another week or two before it's finished.

Cheers,
Robbo

I think that's not a bad result actually - could have been worse considering the state of the car from the outside. [:D] It was good news that the sills are sound.

It should look great when it's done

Looks good apart from this picture:-

I would ask for assurance that all rust was removed from the wheel arch before filling, and ask them to clean off all the rust visible at the bottom of the wheelarch lip before painting. ALL rust must be removed, leave one speck and it will return within a year.

BTW, my 1990 S2 has/had exactly the same rust damage in the same places, I'm gradually restoring it myself, (in between driving it).

Good luck, keep the pics coming.
