Project S2 - bodyshop update...

Well, I'm just back from hols & the S2 has been in the bodyshop for work to begin on her brown bits. I popped in this afternoon for a nosey, & work is progressing nicely. Rusty front wings have been ripped off (literally) ready for nice new (well, s/h) ones to go on when painted. The two large rust patches on the lower edge of the drivers door are now no more. The rear arches have been ground back ready for welding repair pieces in. The sills both look really solid, but will be getting a fresh coat of stone guard & paint anyway, so all good so far [:D]. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera, so no pics I'm afraid. Off to Germany next week with work, so I'll post another progress report when I get back (hopefully with some pics). Should be all repaired & ready for paint by then.

Cheers,
Robbo

Excellent news, particularly the cills! I guess you breathed a little sigh of relief there??

Worth geting pictures, even just to show the work done when you're selling her. (If you ever do [:)])

Where are you getting the work done? I'm in Dewsbury too and am due to get the rust sorted at the bottom of my front wings, and would be interested in getting a quote from your place.
