Project S2 - home at last! & with new boots too!

Hi all, finally got my S2 back from the bodyshop after extensive rust repairs. She's been away a little longer than expected, so I'm mighty glad to have her back! Now looking gorgeous & rust-free, especially with the new 17" Turbo Cups I recently purchased and had refurbed as a coming home pressie [:D].

Top job by my bodyshop guys, I'm really pleased with the results, worth the wait to get rid of all that nasty brown stuff. Been for a little blast this afternoon & man, I'd forgotten how good the 944 is. I'm actually quite glad it wasn't good polishing weather, so I could spend a bit of time actually driving her!

Here's a few pics, but she hasn't had a proper wash & polish yet...

I wonder, has anybody ever sent a car to a bodyshop and actually had it back when they expected?

Still, the wait just makes that first outing in your 'new' car all the more satisfying.

As long as you remember that bodyshop days means weeks and bodyshop weeks means months you should be alright [:D]
 
Thanks guys, I'm really happy now she looks like she should. Feels great knowing I'm saving such a fantastic car from deteriorating into a sad end. The budgets out the window, but hey, it's worth every penny!
