Protective Film

I am looking for an installer in the South West (my location is East Devon) for paint protective film such as Venture Shield/3M Scotchguard.

Any recommendations appreciated

I know it is a bit of a trip, but i did a lot of research on installers of film. I live in Bath area but made the trip up to Paintshield in Peterborough. Speak to Tom the owner, great guy and the quality of the fitting is second to none. The main point that i found is that you need to be so careful to find a fitter that will not cut the film on your car. Painshield will not cut the film on the car as they have very good templates for virtually every Porsche.

They have done the film on two of my cars now and i would not let any other company put film on the car. If you mention you are a club member he will give you a good discount. He also put a good warranty on the film and will address any problems that might happen.

The film has been on my GT3 for a year now and i have had no problems. Washing is virtually the same as a car with no film, and he will give you a list of products that should not be used as they can damage the film. The main product that will damage (cause yellowing on the film) is tyre dressing.

Thanks all, I have found an installer in Hampshire. Collecting GTS Friday and installing film Monday so not much driving in between.
