PS2 PS4 Combo

Looking for some new tyres for my 996.2 GT3 Wheels, but can only get Michelins in a PS4 Front, PS2 Rear setup due to availability etc.

Is there any potential hazard/danger/mismatch with this set up..? Both are Y rated; Fronts 95, Rears 98..

I wouldn't think this would be an issue. The PS2 is still a good tyre even if the tech in it is a bit older.
I've had hell and all kinds of problems trying to source a pair of PS4s to replace the PS2 rears on my 997, and have actually had to go to Pirelli P-Zero N2s as they're literally the only tyre anyone has right now (Well, apart from a couple of comedians charging Unicorn money for PS4s)

Thanks [:)] I couldn't think why there would be an issue, but a mate put it into my head that there might be..!

Strictly speaking it is an issue as the compounds will be different and will have different characteristics.

It‘ll be a warranty issue (if you can still get one)

However, if you’re not tracking it I wouldn’t be too concerned.

If anything it might help the understeer, if you have grippier tires in the front...

FWIW, I just got new PS2 rears, which I find much better than the Pirellis.
