PSE sound clips - Lovely!

The PSE on mine sound nothing like that!! Much much louder and far more tuneful at high rpms.

If you want one that sounds like those clips now, you'll want a real one even more

There's quite a difference between the earlier and later version of the PSE. The earlier one had a bypass pipe that let some of the exhaust gas go straight from the silence inlet to the outlet. The later one completely re-routes the gasses through the silencer and has 2 outlets.

In the early version, the valve opens or closes the bypass. In the later version it switches between the 2 different outlets.

This is a pic of the early version:

Many thanks for that Ian,
I see now, I had no idea there were 2 versions.
I have a 2000 C2 so I guess OPC Cambridge will be fitting the earlier one on my car right (Your first picture)?
Which one is louder or are they both the same?
I must admit, I don't want it to be super loud or intrusive....

I think they now fit the later one irrespective of engine size. They are quite loud if you drive hard (very , very nice sound though). You can quieten them down to near normal levels by judicious use of your right foot, however!

Makes the car sound superb - you will not regret buying them.
