Hi all
Just installed a PSE. I got it used from Porschapart so came without the vacuum bits and electronics etc so is always on. Does anybody know whether the vacuum bits and electronics needed to install a switch can be bought separately from anywhere? Or alternatively, does anyone who bought a PSE new but never had the vacuum and wiring installed have the bits laying around unused and looking to get rid of them for a fair price?
One last thing, I didn't manage to get the rusty bolts off the tailpipe clamps, so haven't been able to move the tailpipes from the old mufflers to the new ones yet till I get some new clamps this week. I assume this is fine driving without tail pipes on for the moment? Also, is it likely to be making the new exhaust sound louder than it will be when I get the tailpipes on and the sound is directed backwards rather than down?
Apart from my questions above, it is amazing. Louder than I expected (and louder at lower rpms than I expected) but fantastic when you are putting your foot down and having a good old go with it.
Cheers
