sorry about this again but got PSE fitted on my 54 plate carrera S and i have to say its all very different to the 08 loan car i had at the weekend. Ive had porsche mechanic here today explaining that when the lights on its actually off (the opposite to the one i had) that it takes a few seconds when u moving to switch on or off (loan car was instantanious) and that its normal for the light to flick on and off depending what speed u are doing.
I know understand all this (i think) and whilst here i got him to pull the brown plug on the exhaust so the noise is permanent. I have to say that it seems extreemly loud now. Does all this seem normal?? also what the thoughts re the cable now flapping about. Shud i get it tied up?? Tks

I have mine set to always noisy and have from new. People do comment that it is louder than PSE just operating normally i.e. kicking in at certain revs etc. I think I was advised to put some electrical tape over the plug so it doesn't get dirty. As for the other questions, mine isn't a switchable exhaust / I think because I have chrono??

Tks for the reply jamie. I dont have sports chrono so its just the exhaust button. I think the Guy from Porsche suggested using a cable tie to stop the lead from flapping about. Fair point about tape over the plug though Tks

Of course, don't forget the most important part of the PSE experience!! Next time you are driving through a tunnell or under a bridge, drop your windows, slow right down, select a suitable low gear and floor it. It is unreal!
