Hi these lights have come up on my Cayenne turbo, is there a re set procedure before i go back to the dealer

Well I recently had PSM return to workshop come up & also 4 wheel drive fault at the same time (I'm on steel susp). When I switched the car off the warning light didnt come back on for a day or so but then did............ however everytime I switched off they seemed to stay off for a bit? My fault turned out to be a combination sensor which is located below the low ratio switch in the centre console (so I was told)...not cheap (£300 ish) and not covered under warranty apparently! but I managed to swing it as I hadn't had the car long.

As far as a reset goes not sure...... but remember in other cars that to disconnect the battery for a while worked for some warnings, if all else fails might be worth a try??

Had a very similar problem that they traceed o the sensors. Had them replaced and the light never came back on[:D]

They have said its the PSM switch £400 .What worries me is they did not even bother to take out the car park and check, could of saved me a couple of hours in traffic to of told me over the phone !

For £400 I'd want to make sure that it was that fault........ surely they must have looked at the car & plugged it into a diagnostic thing to be certain?? after all it might just be a loose wire or sensor? Did they mean the switch on the dash then

Thought of taking it to a specialist might turn out cheaper? [;)] or just switch the psm off and have some fun!
