ALL - The July pub drive-out is at the Pyewipe Inn situated beside the Fossdyke canal near Saxilby, Lincoln. The Roman built canal links the Rivers Trent and Witham at Brayford Pool Lincoln. The pub has a huge car park with canal side seating and is accessed from the A57, just W of the bypass, by a private narrow road with passing places and a few (unpainted) speed bumps. Check their web site at www.pyewipe.co.uk and from its map, note the access road leaves the A57 near the letter 'S' of Saxilby Road - coming W from the bypass the A57 bears round a left hand bend over a low bridge, then you pass a farm entrance on left (not on map), and 200M later go left off the main road - the pub sign is currently hidden by summer foliage!

There is a big menu choice (web site out of date), samples are 10 starters between £4.50 and £6.50, 12 mains plus 4 V options from £10.50 plus 3 salads as a main with new pots at £9.95. Additionally specials on the blackboard. Sweets are £3.50 I think. Ales on today Speckled Hen and Rutland Bitter (Greene King but at least its Real Ale)!

Plan to arrive at 6.30pm and order at 7pm ish. A big table has been reserved for R4. See y'all there.
