pulling to the left on hard acceleration

After cleaning my 996tt I did not dry of the brakes properly like I normally do, so the next day when I came to drive her the brakes needed some gentle persuasion to free them selves from the discs. Since then I have noticed on a few occasions that on hard acceleration she will step out at the back or pull to the left, without activating the psm. I am sure it never use to do that. The psm seems to be working okay as I can provoke it to come on. Any idea's?[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Not related to having cleaned your car but have you checked your rear tyre pressures. This effect regularly happens to me when one of my rear tyres loses pressure. (I have a slow puncture)

If you get water on the discs they go a bit rusty, but not enough to worry about in 1 day. A couple of good hard brakings will clean them off.
When parked, the car is held on the handbrake.
The handbrake has separate brake shoes that operate as a drum brake inside the rear hubs (I believe). They do not act on the hydraulic pads that squeeze the discs.
Therefore, getting the discs wet does not affect the handbrake.
At the moment there is lots of salt, and it is quite damp, so I have issues sometimes with the handbrake. Leaving it over the weekend will do it.
Any issue you have with the brakes will have no effect on acceleration.

The most likely thing is salt on the road (one side may be more slippery than the other) or different tyre pressures.
Although the traction control can operate the brakes on individual wheels, you mention the light is not on, so I don't think this is the issue.

Just thought I would let you know, checked the tyre pressure and they were quite low. Pumped them up to correct pressures and all is well with the car.
