Puncture Repair Kit

Have to say I always carry puncture repair kit,got me home in a few occasions in various cars

Maybe - but it was used successfully on the 991 Euro tour last year. In fact it held from somewhere in Belgium all the way back to Tewkesbury, as I recall!

Thanks for the comments. I will carry a pump and tyre repair kit. Hopefully I will not need them. Sods law if I do have a puncture it will be a rainy night on some remote hillside where there is no mobile phone signal[:(]

Silverline for me too plus jack and gadgets to remove centrelocks. My OPC report that my gunk is out of date at service and I reply "So what?"

What jack do you have, where do you store and how do you secure it to stop it rattling about??

I've successfully used the Silverline kit on a rear tyre, didn't need a jack but just had to turn the wheel to get best access before it went completely flat.
Repair took about 10 minutes, then about 15 minutes to inflate the tyre.
The repair held no problem and it was a decent sized hole in the tread, a pretty fast puncture is how I would have described it.

Standard Porsche jack purchased second hand on eBay. Keep all my tools in a bag stowed in front compartment.

It happened on the A9 Germany near Bayreuth during the drive from Stuttgart to Dresden, as Alan says the repair on Nick's Turbo S held all the way back to Tewkesbury, a distance of about 800 miles. No jack was used and the tyre was completely flat.
