On the way to gatwick for our holiday, picked up these beauties on the M25. had to leave the car with Porsche Brooklands no spare Pirelli 305 in stock. Taxi to airport and caught the plane. Will pick up the car on the way home.

If you're going to get a puncture, might as well do it properly Huw! Enjoy your holiday.

Blimey
did you drive through a screw factory huw?!!!!

still at least were still in the World Cup :ROFLMAO:
Enjoy your hols

What bad luck Huw ,sure it will not spoil the holiday for you both??,
Just as an observation and from recent experience why do dealers
not have running stock of these tyres?,after all Pirelli is the std brand
and the sizes are common to most of the 991,s.
Prehaps it should be part of there dealer standards.
Most new cars and with the complications of centre locks
finish up at a OPC after a puncture after all, come on Porsche get it
sorted??

Thank you for your comments
Porsche Brooklands were very appolagetic that they did not have a spare 305-20 in after told me they did. They had plenty of 295 in. In the end they were very good, laid a taxi for us to the airport and will also come and pick us up. Porsche assistance weren't much help, because the car was already at Porsche Brooklands. The first I came to know about the puncture was the TPM alarm which became handy, worth additional add on. I was able to blow the tyre up to get me to the Porsche garage. It will be ready for me to pick up on Monday. Otherwise a lovely holiday had in Mauritius, apart from Carol falling over two days ago on a glass bottom boat and damaging her ribs !!
