Q. Suggestions for Oxford body shop?

Car has had a prang ( not me, car was parked....in broad daylight....well clear of a driveway.........other driver has taken full responsibility.

Front wing and front bumper is the general affected area[]/[;)] ( undecided if I should be sad it's had a prang or glad it was only this small!.

My Questions are:

1. Any suggestions for a recommended body shop in Oxfordshire / or neighbouring county?

2. I want to get a door check strap done at the same time - so would like a body shop who had experience of those.

3. I've not taken the wheelarch liner out to see if anything inside has been affected. Any advice about what to make sure the insurance repairers check for ( e.g the fan etc. inside the frot wing ). car horn now only parps high - no low tone - guess cables jostled / disconnected inside??

4. and lastly, repair or replace?? I presume new front bumper as it is cracked; but for the wing - bang wing back into shape and re-spray? or a new wing? ( looks beatable, but what would a future owner 'want' if I come to sell the car?

thanks for any help,[&:]

Autofarm?

Make sure the insurers agree to your choice of repairer - many try to insist on their own "approved" contractors.

I was recently involved in a "conflict" with my silver C4S recently. Similar damage (bumper, bonnet, wing) in the end replacing the bodywork components together with headlight, foglight, work on scuttle and other side wing due to slight skew on impact angle. Very expensive way of repairing stone chips :-(.

I entrusted the work (under insurance) to Steve Bull of Devizes (not Oxford but not too far way) who then used a trusted body shop. Repair was completed to my satisfaction, but also to theirs - they are the experts.

PM me if you'd like to talk further.
