Porschapart had come up trumps with all the missing heater hoses and vent pipe that was mysteriously missing form my new-sih 993.

So task was to get car up, so these could be fitted, and heat restored to the drivers side of the car!

( Waiting until 6pm on a weekday probably wasn't best bet )

Tried car ramp stands - car too low, couldn't get them within 200mm of the rear tyres![][][]

Parkd the car with 1 side up on the kerb - to give a bit more working space.

Used car jack to jack up the front end,
then put front Axle stand in.

Then trolley jeck up rear,
and fit axle stand.
.
Then - 5 mins underneath to fit the hose and vent pipe!

Engine Jacking Blocks?? Any good?
Anyone have any experience ne of the engine block jacking point
( that's on P-Car.com. )
Looks useful - but also looks quite low - and bit close for comfort to speed-bumps etc.

Now have heat![8D]
