Query - Cabrio roof lubrication

Any suggestions on what's best to use to lubricate the mechanicals on a cabrio roof frame.

It's not seized, all working fine - just wonderd if anything was particularly good?

I use a silicon spray or paste depending on which bits im doing.
plus its clear so wont show/stain etc, won't damage the hood or rubber seals, in fact I use it on the rubber seals

Teflon dry lube spray also good on hinges ,folding links etc, but can leave white patches if over applied!

Noting that silicone compounds will destroy the function of the oxygen sensor in the exhaust if they find their way into the engine. Hopefully this should not be a significant risk if they're being used purely on the cabrio roof.
