is there anywhere to check if there are any due? i have been annoying opcs up and down the country piecing together the car's history....still unable to work out why the car had to have the reverse sensors fitted at the pre delivery chec but anyway, i have found the below codes and what they are. Anyone able to tell me if these are recalls or whether they are just bits fixed under warranty? g00gle didn't help much....thanks!

w566 - brace for tool kit
w572 - wind deflctor mod (just saw another post hence this one on recalls)
w573 - coolant hose replacement
w602 - front spoiler grille kit
w610 - sat nav software update

by the way, here's the little beauty !!

It certainly is a little beauty!

Check out renntech.org, which has a full list of TSBs showing the recalls. Workshop Campaigns start with the letter W, and Safety recalls start with an A. (No A's for the 987).

Here's a screenshot from Renntech - hope they don't mind. You need to be a Contributing Member to view the TSBs.

they are all workshop recalls as when your car goes in they check the car they come up

grilles for flaking paint, wind deflector for rattles , coolant hose for rubbing on mount stud, pcm update and the brac bar for tool kit which some numpty in germany forgot to put in all 987 for conv top

that's great, thanks. looks pretty vehicle specific in some cases as well. i guess if my car is due one then they tell you right? i was told a record of these should be stamped in the service book but i couldn't find anything.....oh well, thanks again!

they don't stamp any recalls in them nowadays as you have noticed the boxster 987 has a few , they will only notify you of safety recalls if its a workshop recall they just check when you go in for something doing like a service or warranty work....but they should still tell you what needs doing when you take your car in..
