Question about retrofitting 18"

fix

New member
I've read the FAQ, but still wonder,

Top posting it says it OK to have 18" if the VIN is:
WP0 ZZZ 99 ZSS 312528 up to WP0 ZZZ 99 ZSS 317018 (rest of world)

The one I'm looking at have:
WP0 ZZZ 99 ZSS 314680

Then is should be OK, but when I look further down the post, is says that only:

VIN 99 ZSS 316418 (R0W) and above is OK

Then it's not Ok to retrofit 18" ??

Is OK or NOT ???

The 993-93 C4 I'm looking at have 18" Turbo wheels retrofitted, 17" were standard regarding optionlist.

This is a car I'm looking at, and the current ower bought the car with 18"...
He used the car for nearly 3 years...

**Rack brace, don't know...
Will see on Wednesday if it is.

What could happen ?
Approved for what ?
