Had a 'spirited' drive down to Goodwood yesterday, stopped the car for approx 30 minutes and when i started up, got a cloud of smoke from the exhausts. Oil pressure was fine, Temps all ok, car drive fine, smoke gone after 2 seconds..... then later in the day when home started the car again, no smoke all seems to have returned to normal..

Thoughts / Ideas please....

p.s by spirited i mean well over the NSL.....

I understand the puff of smoke phenomenon is quite common - I think we've all had a few adventures over the weekend with the first good sunshine of the year.

Best.

first time giving it some fairly heavy throttle tbh, have been enjoying the mid range cruising abilities, but on saturday was cross country.... ye ha

As the AOS gets older I think you will see more oil get into the inlet, causing a puff at start-up. AOS = air oil separator.
You would expect this to occur more so when driven hard - well I've certainly heard of accounts of them failing on track days.
Kind Regards Lee
