Questions about possible 993 purchase

Goodmorning all. I recently sold my Boxster 987 s and after not really knowing what to replace it with I placed a £500 holding deposit on the new M3 with the view if its fantastic I will have it or sell the slot or if its viewed badly I can get my money back. Ive had a while to think and Im very drawn to a 993 c2s or c4s. Looking at Paragons site they always seem to have fantastic examples in (not seen any in the flesh). My question are 1) whats regarded as average mileage from a 993 owners perspective. 100k would be average for a normal 10 year old car but I gues 993s do not travel as many miles. I want to know service costs but I will do a search first as Im sure it will of been asked before, but if anyone can help with a link that would be marvellous.
looking at Paragons cars the seats always look immaculate in all there cars, do they replace them? What sort of back up does Paragon give, im sure ive heard good things about them but just wondered if the hardcore 993 owners had any thoughts or ather recomends/ Thanks in advance.

I bought my 993 C2S from Paul Devyea in January he sells good stuff and has been very good. I have had a slight leak from N/S/F suspension strut and he replaced both.
He also replaced the battery which after a few weeks tended to struggle when starting from cold.
I looked at Paragon but thought they were a bit expensive.

Paragon are known for their "premium" pricing. (They usually seem to just undercut official Porsche centre prices). Fine if money is no object, but the best advice is "buy on condition", and arrange a pre purchase inspection so there are no nasty surprises.

There are many used Porsche dealers out there - it pays to shop around. Depends where you live, but Henry Firman in Uxbridge is always worth a try.

On the question of mileage - mine's done about 72,000 now - just run in I would say.

The c4s does not seem to command that much of an additional premium. Given all things being equal is the 993 c2s and c4s choice similar as it is today with 997 c2s and c4s in that most say 2s is more of a drivers car?
