Quick pre 85 wheels question!

Just a quickie... My early Lux has been fitted with a set of 16" teledials which I THINK were from a 928, but the offset is wrong at the back, meaning the wheels look too narrow, even though it has spacers on.
Ive seen a pair of 15" teledials ( I already have 15s on the front :-s) which have an offset of 52or similar from a 944. are these the ones I wont to make it look right???

Ive answered my own question by searching the forum , so no I wont be buying them...
BTW does anyone have any cookie cutters in black for my 83 944?
Or even a pair of teledials that WILL fit?
Or even something else that WILL fit?
anyone....
:-(

You can get high offset 17" cup replica wheels which will go straight on with no spacers. I had these on my 84 Lux and they look great, really transform the car without sacrificing comfort. Can get them from Leigh tyres 01702 474711 ask for steve. Think i paid about £550 brand new with tyres.

I have 4 x 15inch cookie cutters from my 1983 944 which were refurbished 2 yrs ago and have brand new toyos (195) They are silver with black centres, the laquer has gone slightly milky in one or two small areas. I can send pics if you are interested. (I also have fifth cookie cutter which is all silver with an old 205 tyre )

Thanks suffolk, but Im up in manchester and dont really fancy the run down...

I sent you a message the other day - where are you and how much?

I think you can get early offset teledials so don't assume they are all 52mm ET. Think the early ones on 911SC were 24/17 ET and that will fit your 944. Myself, I'd probably look at buying replica Fuchs from the likes of Design911/Porscheshop if I could get an opinion on what they are like.

Punkass - Was after £200 for them (they come with tyres with some life left in them). Dont know about courier charge I could always investigate if you are interested. Theres a thread with pix of them from a few months back.

I've got a set of 17" Cup 1 alloy Millie Miglia replicas with tyres (rear as new) and rare 7.5" fronts and 9" rears.

Think you will fit your car as offsets are front 23 and rear 15.

You can collect from Rochdale area.

PM me if you are interested
