Quiz at May Meet

Yes - I know we've had the meeting but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took part in the Porsche quiz that my son Matthew put together to raise a little cash for Cancer Research at the meeting. Members raised £35 which Nick will ensure reaches the appropriate charity.

Many thanks are owed to Michael French from JCT 600 (Newcastle), not only for his continuing support for the region, but also for providing the superb prize (a model of the Porsche 997 Turbo), which was won by club member John Aitken.

We hope to be able to make the quiz a regular feature of club meetings if there is sufficient interest.

Thanks again.

Colin yours and Mathews continuing support for our region is excellent, thank you very much from every one there last night, it was really great, looking forward to the next one already.

Cheers[:D]

I thought the quiz was really good, and it gave an extra dimension to the club night. It's great to see one so young as Mathew with such an avid interest in cars in general, and Porsche in particular.
Many thanks to you both

Its a pity I had to rule my self out of the quiz seeing I had just downloaded most of the quiz questions that Mathew had from the net a few days before
Had a bit of a domestic seeing I would not give Moira a hint[:)] looking forward to the next one

June and I both thoroughly enjoyed the quiz although I embarassed myself at how little I knew about porsches - thanks Martin for telling me what the fourth porsche model is ! - well, the Cayman is really just a boxster coupe isn't it !
