[FONT=arial"]The Annual Concours event will take place next Sunday 17th September at the Huntingtower Hotel (www.huntingtowerhotel.co.uk ) in Perthshire.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]

The concours event will be in the form of a street concours and everyone who arrives will be asked to fill out a form voting for the best cars in each class. The Scottish concours is traditionally more of a social event, so even if you're not a committed polisher, its a good chance to take your car for its annual visit to the carwash and come have a gab and some lunch with other club members.

We have invited a professional Swissol detailer who will be giving a demonstration and will be happy to answer all your polishing/cleaning questions. On the day he will also be offering a genuine 15% discount on swissol products.

I assume I'm the Swissol Detailer?[;)]

I trust this is not an inappropriate post...if so, delete it or whatever and I'll consider myself chastised!

Certainly have some demo stuff, clay bars, cleaner fluid and a couple of waxes...folk can play with it and see what they think.

Won't be any goods to purchase, but you can order on the day with a 15% discount and the goods will be delivered on Tuesday direct from Swissol. It's too costly for me stock and by buying ordering direct from Swissol, it'll be fresh stock - not that it goes off and you can be assured of the products authenticity!

As a little heads up - cash or cheque only. Cards kill my discount with merchant fee's etc.

To give you all an idea of prices (prices shown are discounted by 15%)

Claybar £12.75 - a huge chunk in its own container - will last years and undoubtedly one of the best clays available.

Cleaner fluid - pre-wax cleaner / polish. So easy to use and provides the perfect base fpr the wax to bond to
250ml £16.92
470ml £29.67

Medium cleaner fluid - great for minor swirl removal. Usually able to apply wax after use, sometimes a treatment with normal cleaner maybe required
250ml £21.27

Onyx wax - recently had its formula "tweeked" Entry level wax, easy to use with a nice finish. Recommended for light colours only.
£33.15

Saphir - Great all rounder for light and dark colours. The highest grade of wax I'd recommend for light colours (more costly waxes won't show their potential) Lovely finish on dark cars and easy to use.
£57.80

Best of Show - Gorgeous wet look finish. Requires care in application (massage it on with the palms of your hands - gives the neighbours something to talk about especially if you have a glazed look in your eyes
hehe.gif
) Probably the ultimate wax for darl colours...I've tried costlier and couldn't see where the extra £££'s went.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]£101.15

Applicators for wax and cleaner fluid - £2.13 ea.

Sting in the tail ...goods are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and are charged at £6.50. Not my choice but what's charged by Swissol GB.

I'll also have a few other bits 'n pieces that I use; they're not costly, they're not from Swissol but they work and are worthy supplements to your "car care armourey"[FONT=verdana, geneva"]I could also be persuaded to offer a nice discount on a full makeover if booked on the day thus assuring I stay busy but permanently skint [:D]

Look forward to seeing you all
