The 2012 Club AGM was held on Sunday April 15. At the AGM, the Directors make a variety of awards. We were amazed and delighted that R12 was awarded "Region of the Year" for 2011.

We should like to thank you all for your part in making our Norfolk and Suffolk Region such a friendly place to be. We should particularly like to thank past and present committee members, all those who regularly turn up to help and or course all who support our activities.

The award was made by Paul Seagrave, Regional Director. His reasons for giving the award to Norfolk and Suffolk included:
  • Our committee structure and the way it works;
  • The quality of our monthly email to members, providing details of our events - if you live in Norfolk and Suffolk and are not already receiving this, just email r12@porscheclubgb.com and we will arrange to add you to the distribution list;
  • That we managed to get Geoff Turral, then MD of Porsche Cars GB Ltd, to speak at one of our Club Night meetings (thanks Helena!);
  • The easy transition in the recent change of ROs.

So, with a new Board and a refreshed PCGB commitment to enjoying our cars and having fun, come along to R12 and do just that!
Kind regards
Brian and Viv
