R18 concours

Hi David We'll be there just in morning have too much stuff to cram in on a Sunday, would've probably entered if my new lens set would've come thru in time... Should be flag cracking weather as well [:)]

Thanks everyone for attending the concours, whether as an entrant, spectator or judge. Also a big thankyou to Tom and his staff at Porsche Centre Bolton for all their hard work, especially organising the weather (a bit too hot really, a bit cooler next year please!) Once again Mark Greenwood's 993 was a worthy winner, closely followed by Jamie Wilson's Boxster. Cheers,

Glad you had a good day, unfortunately mine is still at jasmine or I would have won hands down! [;)][;)]

were going to have be careful with these quick colours you know rob..... I mean blue was fine.... but..... red and now white is going to mean that mixed together thats nearly pink...... and thats going to do neither of us any good...... [:D][;)]

Good job the Concours isn't this weekend. Just opened the garage door to discover a large ginger cat had made it's bed on the roof of Sue's cabriolet, and had deposited the remains of it's loose fur on the Targa top of Mac's 911. That'll teach us to leave the cars uncovered after a run. To make matters worse the cat was frightened by the opening door and disappeared into the rafters. After much coaxing and lots of acrobatics from Mac, said cat is now on it's way home, leaving us with two cars in serious need of a good wash and brush up. Mac's application for a job with the Tower Circus will be in the post tomorrow. Sue

Rob, There was me thinking you were such a modest man-suddenly ,you've gone all white & flashy--Sue I thought Mac hadn't yet tamed you ,never mind ,small cats.[:)]

Colin, what can I say, it is, erm, it is a bit conspicuous! Sue, you should be grateful you found the cat so quickly - I once had a feral cat sneak in through an impossibly small gap into the eaves of a locked garage from which it could not escape. God knows how long it was in there but it was might angry when I opened the door and the mess was unbelievable! Jeremy... no, I can't think of a polite response for a public forum!!
