We have a number of events coming up over the next few weeks, some of which require booking:-
Sunday 17th September – Cars & Coffee Breakfast – Jasmine Porschalink – Nelson 8.30 to 11.30.
Thursday 21st September – Cars & Coffee – Bridge House Farm Tea Rooms – Wray between Lancaster & Kirkby Lonsdale. From 14.00 to dusk. Excellent hog roast and food. We normally get 100+ sports and classic cars attending. This will be the last one of the year.
27th September – Monthly Meeting Garstang Golf Club. (NOTE CHANGE OF WEDNESDAY) As the Women's Institute have again taken over the whole venue for its Annual Conference, we had a number of options, such as going to another venue or changing the evening. I have looked at many other venues but they have not been suitable, and expensive. By moving this to the fourth Wednesday for this month only we hope the major M6 roadworks and A6 congestion, will have finished. This evening we would like to discuss future events for 2024, and any volunteers to organise events would be most welcome. I have had a volunteer to organise a couple of drives and a WOTY.
Sunday 1st October – Cumbria Drive and Lunch. Meet near Carnforth to leave at 9.30am for a run around the Lake District. Lunch by the side of Lake Windermere at The Boardwalk Bar n Grill. Further details will be provided a few days before the event.
Anyone interested in joining us please e-mail Alan Ridehalgh on:-

Don’t forget to check out the M6 roadworks situation which is causing major holdups on both the M6 and A6 between Preston and Lancaster.
Sunday 8th October – Cars & Coffee – The Mill at St Catherine's – Lostock Hall, Bamber Bridge.
Sunday 15th October – Visit to The Spitfire Museum – Blackpool. Numbers are limited by the venue and pre-booking and pre-payment to the venue is essential.
To book go to HERE.
If you can’t get into the booking if it says fully booked, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
