The plan is to meet at the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales National Park between 10.30am - 11am then take the Buttertubs Pass up to The Tan Hill Inn and have lunch.
More details can be found on a previous R18 Forum page. If you are interested in attending please let Paul know by paulgrundy1967@gmail.com>
Here are some events which require booking ASAP as places are filling up fast
Sunday 5th April – Visit to Windermere Jetty - Joint Meeting with R22. Get there early for a great breakfast.9:00-9:30am. We have parking for around 120 cars and have a hard standing for around 20+ if we wish to show off specific cars.
For groups of 12+ the 2020 museum entry is £7.00 per person. The museum opens at 10am every day and to fully explore the galleries, conservation workshop and the boathouse takes around one to one and a half hours.
There is also a chance to join the ‘conservation conversation’ at 11.00am outside the Conservation Workshop to find out more about the restoration and conservation work we do.
Heritage boat trips run daily from 10.45am. She carries a maximum of 12 passengers per sailing, trips last around 45 minutes and there are approximately five trips each day. The cost is £14.00 per person. Check the website for more information https://windermerejetty.org/
