Evening All
First of all a reminder that we are no longer meeting at The Crown on the first Sunday of the month. Since the refurb they've just become too busy and we can't get tables. So from November onwards we are meeting at The Novello on the Bath Road instead, still from noon onwards and still the first Sunday of the month. The food is good and well priced and there is plenty of space. Address here:

I also thought I'd mention a few things that I'm planning to do next month if anyone would like to join me:
Goodwood Breakfast on Sunday 4th Nov
Meet here:
http://www.thenewinn.info/findcontactus.htm
at 06:30 for a 06:45 departure.
If you are coming, please let me know so that I know to wait for you.
I'll be heading to the Novello from Goodwood.
South Coast Trip on 18th November
This one needs to be an early start to miss the traffic; so we'll meet at 5:45am for a 6:00 am departure (yes, really). Drop me a PM if you would like to come along.
Brands Hatch Trackday ""Monday 5th November
MSV are holding one of their excellent open pit lane novice days at Brands on this date. Details here:
http://www.clubmsv.com/car-home/event-details.aspx?productid=1598&calType=noviceonly
These are brilliant events and I can't recommend them enough. I won't be organising it as such though, you place your booking direct with MSV. I haven't booked it myself yet but I will be doing so, if anyone wants any more details, drop me a line. Spectators can watch from the pits at Brands and I'll have an empty passenger seat if anyone is interested.
And one for next year:
Prescott "" 12 May 2013
One of the highlights of the year (ask anyone who's been) at Prescott hill climb course in Glos. Again, I'm not organising it, you place your booking direct with the organisers using a. form I can send you. The price is £46 if you want to run your car up the hill (which you do, trust me), or £18 if just want to park up and look around. If you pay the £46 you will be parked in the paddock and writing PCGB R19 where the form says "Clubs" will make sure we are all parked together.
The only snag is that Prescott is for pre-1990 cars only in theory. However Geoff (the organiser) has always made a few exceptions for PCGB, the key is to get your booking in early.
Cheers
James
